Dear residents of Aphrodite Hills,

as you all know on Sunday, June 9th the municipal elections took place in Kouklia where the President (Mukhtaris) and eight members of the Kouklia Council were elected to the office for the next five years. The voting ended at 6 pm. and then the votes were counted until 11 pm. which I personally witnessed (see photo). There were large crowds of people at the Kouklia primary school awaiting the results.
The new Mukhtaris of Kouklia is a young and energetic businessman Chris Kaizer with whom AHRA and AH Management had meetings prior to the elections and discussed the issues related to the resort.

Dear Owners,

We would like to remind you that the upcoming Municipal elections will take place on the 9th of June from 07:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon. We are hoping that those who have applied for their voting books have already picked them up from our offices and are ready to cast their votes. After many years of being absent we now have a chance to have Aphrodite Hills representatives Mr. Zenon Papaloizou and Ms. Sophia Papaloizou to be voted into the Kouklia Council. We are sure that our representatives in the
Kouklia Council will be able to finally focus the Council’s attention on Aphrodite Hills.

Regarding yesterday's situation with the fire, a letter was sent today to the General Manager of the Aphrodite Hills resort.

Dear residents of Aphrodite Hills. As you may know the municipal elections in Cyprus are scheduled for June 9, 2024 and all those eligible to vote (Cypriot and EU nationals) need to register by the end of March.

Dear AHRA members,

please see the presentation from AHRA 2024 EGM. Members have unanimously elected a new Council (see presentation)

An importance of the upcoming municipal elections was stressed. All members and residents eligible to vote (citizens of Cyprus and the EU member countries) are strongly encouraged to register before April 2, 2024 to be able to vote. This is our chance to elect a resident of Aphrodite Hills to the Council and to get the budget and issues related to Aphrodite Hills in our own hands.
